Direct Recruitment to P A / S A cadre

With improvement of staff position, Postmasters / P As / S As can work peacefully.
Dear friends,
The Department vide its order No.60-9/2010-SPB-I, dated 22.07.2010 has issued instructions to all CPMGs / PMGs to fill up the direct recruitment vacancies of P A / S A cadre of the year 2009 and exiting as well as firm anticipated vacancies of the year 2010 as per the following time schedule.
1. Advertisement / circulation of vacancies for the year 2009 and 2010 - 20.08.2010
2. Last date of receipt of applications - 05.10.2010
3. Holding of written examination and completion of computer test - 14.11.2010
4. Declaration of final result / selection list - 16.12.2010

Thanks to the united efforts of the central JCA since this was one of the major demands during the proposed Indefinite Strike commencing 13.07.2010 which has been deferred after successful negotiation.
