You might be knowing that experiencing undue delay in holding the DPC for promotion to HSG – II cadre, 24 Fast Track officials of Odisha Circle had filed O A No.441 / 08 before the Hon’ble CAT , Cuttack and the Hon’ble Tribunal vide their Order dated 21.11.2008 instructed the respondents to dispose of the representations of the applicants submitted for holding regular DPC for promotion to HSG – II cadre with reason and speaking orders within a period of 90 days. But since the Circle office did not turn up within the stipulated period of 90 days, al l the 24 applicants preferred Contempt Petition No. 11 of 2009 before the Hon’ble CAT , Cuttack. Subsequently, in their reply to the Show Cause Notice issued by the Hon’ble Tribunal, the circle administration took 4 months time to complete the procedural necessities for holding regular DPC. Accordingly, the DPC was held during August, 2009 and C O vide their Memo No.ST / 26 – 7 / 2009, dated 11.08.2009 ordered for promotion of as many as 32 eligible Fast Track LSG officials to the cadre of HSG – II in spite of serious protests by the Staff Side from Circle to CHQ .
In view of this we did not press CP No. 11 / 2009 and accordingly the said C P was dropped.

By way of filing the show cause , Respondents / Alleged Contemnors have disclosed that they have already complied with the order in question of this Tribunal.
In the aforesaid premises. The Petitioner does not want to press this case and accordingly this C P is dropped.
Send copies of this order to the applicant as well as to the Respondents in the address given in the C P.
