Region-wise distribution of posts under Postmasters Cadre

As you are aware, as per the instructions contained in Directorate’s letter No.13-2/2010-PE.I dated 25-11-2010, 60 LSG ( out of 145 ) , 18 HSG-II ( out of 65 ) and 18 HSG-I ( out of 65 ) posts have been carved out and designated as Postmaster Grade-I, Grade-II and Grade - III respectively. Now the identified posts carved out as such have been redistributed region-wise as follows by our circle office.
Head Quarters Region - HSG-I (08), HSG-II (07) and LSG (26)
Sambalpur Region - HSG-I ( 06 ), HSG-II ( 06 ) and LSG (15 )
Berhampur Region - HSG-I ( 04 ), HSg - II ( 05 ) and LSG ( 19 )
Further the Chief Postmaster General, Odisha Circle has directed the Regional / Divisional headsI to communicate the Average Grading furnished in the ACRs of the officials immediately and finalize their representations received within 10 days positively. After finalization of the representations of the concerned officials, as has been directed a report should be submitted to Circle Office by 14.12.2010 so that LSG DPC can be held on 15th December 2010.
